FALL DRAWDOWN

The Department of Public Works will be opening the gates at Indian Lake on Monday, October 24th for the winter drawdown. The water level will be reduced by 4 feet, which is the same as the last two winters. Please make every effort to remove watercraft before this date. This important effort has been a significant tool to help manage non-native invasive weeds in this water body.

For more information, contact the Department of Public Works and Parks at 508-929-1300.

At this time, both the Worcester Police Department and the Environmental Police have very limited resources. Your calls, when you witness dangerous and potentially harmful activities on or around the lake, can help these law enforcement agencies to know where they are most needed. Please pass the these numbers along to your neighbors.
