The Indian Lake Watershed
Association (ILWA) is one of
the strongest neighborhood
organizations in the city of
Worcester with approximately
300 members.
The ILWA is a non-profit organization
that obtains its operating
budget through its membership
dues. This budget is supplemented
through project specific grants
from organizations like Saint Gobain Foundation, the Department of Environmental Protection, Morgan
Construction and the Nathaniel
Wheeler Trust aimed at improving
the environment and
quality of life in the entire
10 square-mile watershed.
Each member will receive the
“Indian Lake Smoke Signals”,
a semi annual newsletter published
by the association. This publication
offers the latest in news and
information on projects and
lake related issues.
